Lori Brewer Among Hub Magazine’s 2016 Diversity Game Changers in Technology

Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) publication releases latest issue focused on Diversity in Technology.

ATLANTA (August 9, 2016) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recently recognized Lori Brewer, President & Lead Software Engineer of Lending & Banking Automation Software (LBA Ware™) as a Diversity Game Changer in Technology in the latest issue of Hub Magazine.

Georgia is fast becoming the place for women and minorities in the tech industry. Atlanta is among the Top 50 Cities for Diversity in STEM and ranks #3 of the top 5 Cities for Minorities in Computing. The Diversity in Tech Issue of Hub Magazine celebrates the state’s inclusive ecosystem for innovation.

The Diversity Game Changers in Technology list identifies minority and women innovators who are leading the Peach State’s technology industry.

Lori Brewer, who oversees the design, development and implementation of LBA Ware’s niche software solutions, successfully developed the mortgage industry’s first web-based software that integrates with lenders core systems to automate the entire compensation process. The software brings mortgage lenders a proven alternative for using spreadsheets to manually calculate a multitude of complex, variable-based commission and bonus-based compensation structures.

In addition to the Game Changers list, the issue features Teresa White, President of Aflac U.S. on the cover, profiles South Metro Atlanta’s Fayetteville, GA; showcases Georgia’s election technology upstarts and provides a recap of the biggest technology headlines and more.
